Underground Storage Tanks

Underground storage tanks in Boardman and statewide are more numerous than you might think.

That’s why the Boardman Fire Department —with the help of the state of Ohio — regulates, keeps track of and monitors all underground storage tanks.

The Department keeps permanent files of all underground storage tanks still in place or removed within our township limits. Upon request we can look through our records to see if a property has or ever had an underground storage tank.
