William D. Leicht was appointed to fill the unexpired term of former clerk Ann W. Taylor. He successfully ran for a 4-year term in 1995, 1999, 2003, 2007, and again in 2011. He is also a Certified Public Accountant with offices located in Boardman Township and a former Boardman Board of Education member for 12 years.

George A. Platton is a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley, having graduated from Austintown Fitch and attaining his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Youngstown State University. He began his employment with Boardman Township in 2007. His duties include overseeing the daily activities of the Fiscal Office, along with processing all receipts; financial reporting; budgeting and forecasting the Township yearly revenues; monthly and quarterly tax reports; accounting year-end closing and processing the year-end financial statements; maintaining hospitalization and other insurance coverage; overseeing Boardman’s lighting districts; and overseeing both cemeteries, along with properly maintaining the meeting minutes. Mr. Platton is also an Enrolled Agent and has a local Tax Preparation practice. He can be reached at 330-726-4150, x61815.
